Life Continues

It's been a couple of weeks since I got a letter from Federated about how they're "pursuing other candidates." I've gotten over this, in fact, another potential employer, Hutchinson Technologies, called me today and they want to do a phone interview with me next Monday! I'm very excited about this opportunity, even though Hutchinson is pretty far away from my target area of the Twin Cities in which I want to live.

Other than that, school is getting worse. Less than two weeks left, so homework is piling up. In fact, I should be doing my Operating Systems project, or Principles of Programming Languages paper instead of writing this, but even I need a break every now and then. I have three major programming assignments, two papers, and three presentations to do within the next two weeks, not to mention the OS test tomorrow (the second in that class in two weeks).

Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. We wen't to Florida and I got to laze about during the whole break (which somewhat accounts for why I'm scrambling now to finish up school work). I ate a lot, though I didn't seem to gain any weight, which is good.

Well, this homework isn't going to finish itself (though I wish it would), so I have to go back to that now, maybe I'll post something new soon.

First Blog

This is my first post to my first blog. Isn't that interesting? No, it's not, is it?

Anyway, I'm a 24 year old computer science student at Winona State University in Winona, MN. My interests are computers (duh), video games, reading, music, movies... wait, this sounds too much like a personal ad, so I'm going to stop there.

I'm graduating in December and looking for jobs. I've had an interview with Federated Insurance, who I am VERY interested in. Other than that, school sucks, but that's nothing new.

Maybe I'll post something else on here when I have something really interesting to talk about.
